Trustees – Volunteer role
At BHA, we focus entirely on the quality of service we provide to our communities – our activities offer exciting opportunities across a wide range of career paths. The needs of the communities in which we operate are constantly changing; we need to evolve in order to meet those needs.
Every one of our people has a role to play in driving our projects forward. You will find plenty of opportunities for career development across the projects – and we’ll support you all the way! We are committed to supporting you in other ways too – from encouraging a healthy work-life balance to family-friendly policies.
Right across BHA, we are meeting our challenges, driving our projects forward with all the right people. Why not join us?

We know that people volunteer for many reasons, from simply wanting a chance, to try something new, or perhaps as a route to employment whilst gaining new skills, knowledge and experience. There are many opportunities in volunteering; we aim to develop the skills of our volunteers by giving them training and experience. We have many employees, including managers, who started their BHA careers as volunteers and developed within this progressive environment.
You may choose to volunteer to give something back to an organisation that has impacted on your life or that of someone you know. It may be that you need a chance to re-build confidence after some time out of work. Whatever your reasons are, we offer our volunteers the opportunity to work within a diverse and friendly organisation, meet new people, make new friends, and get to know your community. At BHA, we endeavour to find a role that suits your needs and lifestyle, building on your strengths whilst identifying opportunities for further development.
If this sounds like something you would like to consider, you can apply using our online application form below.
