Step Up Scheme Launch

Women’s Sexual Health Focus
- HIV testing coverage rate among women (57%) lower compared to men (79%)
- Around 50% of women diagnosed late with HIV
- Focus groups organized to tailor services to women’s needs
- Professional focus group on September 1st identified need for centralized online information and culturally adapted support services
- “What Women Want” session on September 15th discussed taboos around sexual health and empowering women

- Partnership between BHA and CAHN (Caribbean, African Healthcare Network)
