  • Safe space for women to discuss HIV, STI prevention, intimacy, pleasure, consent, and healthy relationships.
  • Positive feedback from participants about learning and sharing knowledge.
  • Free HIV testing appointments and discreet delivery of condoms and lube available.

🩺 Cancer Alliance Project

  • Focused on breast and prostate cancer awareness.
  • Targeted at minoritised ethnic communities disproportionately affected.
  • Delivered in partnership with Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance.
  • Aims to improve access to information and promote early detection.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 British Red Cross Collaboration

  • Free sexual health services for refugees and asylum seekers at St Bride’s Church.
  • Emphasizes accessibility regardless of refugee status.

🔬 Gilead Community Research Project

  • Funded by Gilead Sciences.
  • Explored HIV knowledge, service access, and stigma among ethnic minoritised populations in Liverpool.
  • Found gaps in knowledge and access due to stigma, socioeconomic factors, and lack of culturally tailored resources.
  • Recommendations include improving education and accessibility.

🧪 Sexual Health Services Overview

  • Information on HIV, PrEP, STI testing, and rapid HIV tests.
  • Encouragement for regular testing, especially in high-risk communities.

🧑‍⚕️ Nursing & Midwifery Event

  • BHA Liverpool participated to promote sexual and reproductive health.
  • Highlighted the importance of sexual health as part of overall wellbeing.

📦 New Click + Collect Service

  • Free condoms and STI kits available via online order.
  • Collection from Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre.
  • Simple digital form and confirmation code process.

🧔 Upcoming: Savera Men’s Sexual Health Event

  • Targeted session addressing stigma around men’s sexual health.
  • Scheduled for Wednesday, 2nd July, 10am–12pm.

👩‍🔬 Women’s Health & PrEP Uptake Research

  • Collaboration with McMartin, Hidden Voices, and others.
  • Recruiting 10 women from minoritised communities for interviews.
  • Aims to improve awareness and shape future health services.
