Safina Nadeem is a highly experienced and skilled Equality, Diversity & Inclusion professional, having worked in the field, for over 20 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Managing Diversity and Promoting Equality from the University of Central Lancashire. Safina is passionate about Inclusion and is currently working as the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead for Central Manchester University Hospitals Foundation Trust. Her work on developing an equality advocate’s programme for the trust was named in the trusts recent CQC report as supporting the journey to culture change in the organisation. Safina started her career in the NHS as a Nursing Assistant with the Learning Disability Health services and moved onto improving cancer services for BME and socially deprived communities.
Safina is a Specialist Adviser for the Care Quality Commission and was part of the initial pilot of advisers inspecting the Workforce Race Equality Standard under the ‘Well Led’ domain in NHS organisations.
