BHA Manchester Sexual Health Services 


Our sexual health team are unable to provide face-to-face services including HIV testing.   

We will be working remotely, so we can support in the following ways.   

If you’d like to arrange a call back from a member of our sexual health team, please email pash@thebha.org.uk with your name, contact number (so we can phone you back) and the nature of your enquiry.  This is so we can ensure we prepare the right information & advice for you at this time.  

This call back service will operate  

Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm.

We will be offering a free postal condoms and lube to Greater Manchester residents only aged 18+ To request a condom and lube pack please complete our request form.

Other sexual health services are also operating a limited service. During this time, please do not attend clinics in person without being told to do so.  

The Northern sexual health (Manchester, Stockport, Tameside, and Trafford) are offering telephone appointments and have created 2 new phone numbers for sexual health emergencies, including PEP, emergency contraception, sexual assault, and for patients aged under 16. They have also suspended online ordering of their home sampling kits.  


 Virgincare (Oldham, Bury and Rochdale) have suspended all walk-in clinics and the online booking system and are booking appointments and offering phone advice by telephone on 0300 303 8565.  


 Spectrum (Wigan and Leigh) has suspended walk-In clinics and all appointments will now be taken by telephone on 01942 483 188. 


 Bolton & Salford SHINE clinics have suspended walk-in clinics and are taking appointments only.
